Henri le Worm: Best Children's App, Junior Design Awards 2014 WINNER

What the brand says, what the judges thought and how to buy...

They Say:

The world of Henri Le Worm will immerse your children in nature and food.

Packed with games, facts, music & a hilarious story, our app encourages kids & adults to discover more about food, ingredients, nature & bugs. Aimed at children aged 3 to 8yrs old to enjoy with or without their parents, Henri Le Worm is informative and fun to play. Our mission is to try and get children reconnected with nature & food, not by preaching but by primarily making them laugh.

10 easy and delicious recipes, designed by Raymond Blanc, for you and your child to make together and enjoy as a family.

- A hilarious host of characters all brought to life by the celebrated actor Simon Pegg, who also provides the narration.

- All too often children's apps have a very short shelf life.  With this in mind we are proud to offer children an exciting product with loads of content, including lots of fun facts about food and insects, all of which will be updated on a regular basis.

- We commissioned two award winning composers, Paul Pritchard and Josh Phillips, to compose original music for the app.

- With good reason the media spotlight has fallen on school food and children's diets.  With cooking back on the curriculum, we feel we are one of the few existing products that actively encourages children to engage with food and nature, which hopefully means the children will be able to make better informed choices when it comes to food.

Judges Comments:

"Ooo la la, we have been bowled over by Henri le Worm! Am extensive app with lots of hidden layers, this is less an app and more of an entertainment system. Children and adults alike will be amused by Henri and his culinary skills. And alongside the facts, the fun and the exciting graphics, the content is regularly refreshed so there is always something new to see and learn."
