Eating mangoes, sitting beside a deep cool well on a hot summer evening with my family in Jamshedpur, in east India where I grew up. A strict ritual that we all looked forward to participating in.
What was the first thing you ever cooked? A flat Indian bread called Paratha.
How did it taste? It tasted great.
What’s your perfect family dinner? Rice, Chicken curry, Indian stir-fried green beans and fruit for pudding.
What’s the best way to tempt a fussy eater? Provide him with simple but delicious meal and get him hooked on.
What’s the perfect festival food? Anything from Barbeque!!!
Your favourite recipe? Grilled Fruits (see Tandoori Phal in our Recipes section).
