With the excitement and buzz surrounding Young Versace's new campaign star, supermodel Cindy Crawford’s long limbed 10 year old daughter Kaia Gerber, the label presented it's fall 2012 collection outside of Pitti Bimbo in a beautiful Plazzio by the River Arno.
The collection took inspiration from the Versace SS12 collection with the brands signature Medusa decorating T-shirts, shirts and jumpers. Rabbit skin coats were dyed in bright colours of pink, orange and red capturing this season's trendiest pallet and penchant for dyed fur.
Bright colours continued throughout the collection on casual daywear such as cotton shirts, jeans and hooded sweaters.Evening and occasion wear adopted a darker monochrome pallet of black and white and saw the label introduce tailoring for children, with an array of smart tailored jackets and trousers for boys and jersey tunic for girls.Babywear also took centre stage in an all-white collection of jersey rompers, tee’s and blankets, each decorated with the famous Medusa. Altogether, a very bright and vibrant winter; according to Young Versace.
