Revered designer Alber Elbaz finally reveals these much anticipated images from the inaugural (amazing) Lanvin Petite collection
Inspired by the brand's creator Jeanne Lanvin and her beloved daughter Marguerite, Alber Elbaz' first girlswear collection for glamourous label Lanvin is spectacular. Consisting of 25 beautiful pieces for little girls it is the dresses (as in the mainline ladieswear collection) that stand out; made of luxurious materials such as washed organza embroidered with crystals, satin ribbon and grosgrain and draped and pleated tulle. Pretty ballerina pumps complete the look, topped off with delicate precious necklaces, which again reflect the ladieswear collection. We love the voluminous effect, oversized bows and full circle skirts - typical Lanvin trademarks.
We can't wait to see which little fashionista will be spotted in these outfits first. But will they be lucky enough to get hold of one of the four exclusive rag dolls also from the collection, which are dressed in even smaller versions of Lanvin Petite. The girlswear collection will now be available from November 2011. Vive la Lanvin!
