Italian designer label MSGM has launched a fashion collection for children that will debut for autumn winter 2014. The winter collection will be 100 pieces, with a capsule collection of just 20 pieces released as an introduction for spring summer 2014.
The kids' collection is for boys and girls aged two to 12 years. The girlswear is graphic, featuring floral prints over satin and nylon jackets. There are T-shirts and sweatshirts jazzed up with animal print and patch badges. Also, a boucle fabric jacket and and shift dress has been taken straight from the womenswear collection, sized down to mini-me. Both boys and girlswear features the capital 'M' logo. For boys, tartan trousers, basic knitwear, grey melange sweats and plenty of camouflage give a nineties vibe. We particularly love the heart shape, which is used on tops and jumpers - also scaled down from the adult collection.
Creative Director, Massimo Giorgetti, says: "MSGM Kids will be a cool and open-minded collection. A Kids' collection which will break the patterns."
