Miss Grant chose their AW11 catwalk presentation to launch their first fragrance No1 Eau Magic, which in appearance looks very much like the iconic Chanel No 5. The scent itself is very sweet and fruity, and will no doubt appeal to little girls who will love it!
This season, the Miss Grant collection was broken into four prominent themes: Regimental, Equestrian, Party and Boho, so surely every buyer will love something? Regimental was the strongest theme, presenting Miss Grant's tailoring, which is always on of the highlights of the show. Fitted military, biker jackets and double-breasted coats, neatly fitted to the body in tweeds and navy wools, decorated with chains and gold buttons, look expensive and desirable. The Equestrian theme introduced the casual side of the Miss Grant girl, who spends her weekend off with her ponies, sporting distressed denim shorts, jackets and trousers punctuated with diamonte details. Party was the Miss Grant that we see mostly in the boutiques, with glitzy T-shirts with girly floral and animal motifs, party dresses with diamonte and pearl patterns and lots of fur coats, mittens, hats, ponchos and gillets to finish the look. The last theme of the presentation was Boho, with a nod to yester-year, with funky layers of ponchos over patterned frilly blouses, with matching skirts, patterned tights, with socks and fur trimmed ankle boots, accessorised with fur hat and bag. A tad over the top, but extremely fun!
