Dolce & Gabbana was the talk of Florence town as it opened it's first standalone kids' fashion store on Via Tornabuoni during childrenswear trade show Pitti Bimbo last month. The fashionable street already counts stores such as Gucci as residents with childrenswear offerings.
As the Foretzza del Basso played host to a stream of catwalks, presentations and stands, we headed into Florence town to attend the hotly anticipated store opening.
A colourful cart of creamy, tasty canapés greeted us at the door which led into a two storey shop filled with equally tasty designer outfits for boys, girls and baby.

Also.... While we were there, we were given a sneak preview of the show-stopping Dolce & Gabbana autumn winter 2014 kids' fashion collection in the showroom next-door
Have you been to the kids' standalone Dolce & Gabbana store in London's Knightsbridge yet? We attended the Christmas launch party. See all the photographs, here.
