Dolce & Gabbana opens first London kids' store

Junior attended the glam Christmas party to celebrate the opening of the first London Dolce & Gabbana kids' fashion store

Dolce & Gabbana kids' store, 8 Sloane Street, London

The cool kids are sure to be heading to London's Sloane Street to shop this Christmas. For not only does it boast a Bonpoint and a Kidspace shop, but can now add to the list the only Dolce & Gabbana kids stand-alone store in the city.

We visited the designer store for a double celebration of the new opening as well as the festive season. The store was decorated with a sparkling Christmas tree, with presents laden underneath, candy lollipops and rocking horses with Rudolph noses.

The decadence of the clothing is reflected in the chic, cream styling of the shop. A white wall of christening wear for baby adorns an entire wall. Our current favourite pieces are the gold angel decorated items, including the dress above, from the current winter collection. There is an abundance of prints, from leopard to tartan, floral to angelic.

Joining in with the festive fun were mums Peaches Geldof and Tamara Beckwith, who will no doubt be investing in a few Dolce & Gabbana items for their children this Christmas. We kept up the jingle bell cheer by meeting with one of Santa's little helpers; a rather rosy cheeked elf. Time for him to get back to that toy factory, we think, not long now until Christmas day!
