CALVIN KLEIN TOOK on sportswear for Spring/Summer ’10, presenting a vibrant collection punctuated with pastel colours. Yellow features prominently on jersey summer dresses and skirts, while a variety of blues decorate the boys’ summer staples of shorts, polo shirts and jersey jackets. Mauves are introduced for a more romantic feel on girls’ favourites, such as evening dresses and skirts, while white provides a lighter touch on most looks. Jeans being loose fitting, often coupled with distressed detailing and worn gathered at the ankle. Calvin Klein love branding items and T-shirts featured beaded versions of the famous logo. Most notable was a pleated shirt dress with capped sleeves that was effortlessly chic. In fact, this dress epitomised the theme of the Calvin Klein collection most of all.
