Afternoon tea, at the AW11 Marks & Spencer press preview

Is there anything more elegant than taking afternoon tea... Think miniature scones, melt-in-the-mouth meringues, chocolate tarts, sausage rolls and delicate triangle sandwiches. A perfect setting for us to preview the divine Autumn Winter childrenswear collection from Marks & Spencer. 

Highlights include an elegant, original design print (reminiscent of charters created by English artist L.S Lowry) dress in slate grey and flashes of peach and pinky tones for girls; Fair Isle country cosy cardigans as well as gilets with chunky hoods and luxe sportswear for boys. The new season of footwear is certainly not to be missed, with fantastic suede and leather ankle boots, eye-catching strap details, silver sequinned boots and classic heeled brogues. Tags will be added to the new season collection of shoes to identify and highlight the shoes made from real leather.
