The Moustachapillar by Jonty Lees (Eight Books, £9.99)

Eric decides he just doesn’t look old enough and that a moustache is just what he needs to look more grown-up. But how to get one? He tries using shaving foam, a baguette, his sister’s ponytail and even a sausage! Eventually, Eric finds the perfect solution: he becomes friends with a caterpillar who agrees to sit on his top lip. They enjoy all sorts of adventures together in this offbeat but lovable book about an unlikely friendship.
