Up And Down by Oliver Jeffers (HarperCollins, £6.99)

Revisiting the characters from the beautiful Lost And Found (HarperCollins, £5.99), here the boy and penguin lose each other at the zoo. When the penguin decides he wants to fly, he goes off to the circus to be fired from a cannon. But then he realises that, although he thought he wanted to try something on his own, he misses his best friend. A beautifully drawn tale about the value of togetherness.
