Tummy fun
Even a very young baby will enjoy looking at herself in a mirror. Putting one in front of her when she’s having “tummy time” will encourage her to practise raising her head – the beginnings of crawling.

Hello you!
Sit your baby on your lap in front of a mirror. Point at her reflection. Gently touch her nose, her hair and her ears, naming each feature as you go. Your baby won't know what the words mean, but she'll still love it.
