What you’ll need: 

Simplicity Sewing pattern 1710

23 x 30.5cm piece of felt 

2 pieces of 5cm x 10cm of remnant felt, for flowers

12.5cm x 15cm remnant of cotton fabric for contrast tab 

40cm x 34cm of cotton fabric, for inside of shoes

40cm of 34cm wide paper backed fusible web

Four 1cm wide buttons and a square  2.5cm of Velcro

A sharp pair of dressmaker’s shears, pins, needles (large eyed) and sewing thread

Washable marking pen

Sewing machine
